Lessons for My Children

There will come those people in life who shine a torch to help find your way. They will come because you asked for help even if you don’t fully recognise this at that point. They will give you excellent advice and insights, that will truly help you leaps and bounds in terms of growth and letting go of things that may have seemed significant but really needed to be surrendered. They may even give you tonnes of love and respect and you will grow to love them immensely and hold their opinions dearly but if they ever tell you to hide your true self or shrink your light because of fear, the fear of being used, the fear of being the odd one out, the fear of what others will think or just any reason based in solid fear. That is the day I implore you to respectfully say no thank you, in the kindest way possible. Just because they have been right about certain aspects of your life does not mean that they have all the answers. Which means they may not fully understand you, even if you share a lot of common ground. It may just be that because that aspect of you is unknown to them, it is responded to with fear which they are then blindly passing on. Or it may be that life taught them to be fearful and they are yet to evolve beyond it, whatever the reason may be, it is never good enough to reduce, alter or extinguish your light.

Instead seek those who understand you at a deeper level, those who will encourage you to step into your power and are not afraid of it. Seek those who get it, without even needing to say it. Seek and they will come forward. The universe will conspire in your favour. All the atoms that need to be rearranged to make this your reality will happen within the blink of an eye.

When you feel that your path isn’t a narrow one and they insist that you need to choose a safer, tried option…it may seem inviting and comforting as wandering in the unknown may be daunting but follow your heart. However, if you do end up following this safer path, know that there are no wrong choices, the experiences you have will still be those that need to teach you what you need to know to keep on growing, its probably just going to be a slightly longer path to get to yourself and your purpose.

There is no judgement upon you. Live your life to its fullest. Feel into every ounce of it, connect with it, breathe it, be it. Spread love, laugher, healing and forgiveness whenever you can. Emanate the resonance of your light and gifts with ease, grace and gratitude with the knowing that you are whole, safe, abundant and worthy. That you are seen, known and held by the Divine and that you are always in alignment with the Divine.

Tune into your inner compass; your knowing and discernment, deeply rooted and always connected. Breathe in stillness and neutrality and know that you are anchored and centred always. Know that you have the answers and the truth, know that delusion dissolves as soon as you command it back into love with kindness and compassion.
